Course Description

Develop safe gantry and overhead crane skills, including pre-start checks, lift control, signalling and safe shutdown procedures.

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to conduct gantry or overhead crane operations in line with workplace procedures. Participants learn hazard identification, pre-operational checks, safe lifting techniques, communication and signalling, load control, exclusion zones, and post-operation checks and reporting.

​

Suitable for workers operating gantry or overhead cranes in manufacturing, warehousing, maintenance, workshops and industrial sites.
