Course Description

Learn to operate and maintain a 4WD for workplace tasks, including pre-start checks, safe driving techniques and operator maintenance.

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to operate and maintain a four wheel drive vehicle in the resources and infrastructure industries. Participants learn to plan and prepare for 4WD tasks, conduct vehicle checks, drive to suit conditions, manage hazards, and complete basic operator maintenance and reporting in line with workplace procedures.

 

This course is suitable for workers who operate 4WD vehicles for resources, infrastructure, utilities, maintenance and remote field operations.
